“Don’t put something off to tomorrow that you can do today.”
The TEE team stands out because of their willingness to support one another—there’s never a sense of being left to figure things out alone. That kind of camaraderie is something I deeply value.
I come from a close-knit family and now have one of my own—my wife and I have been married for 22 years, and we have two amazing kids: a 19-year-old son and a 17-year-old daughter. I’m most proud of the family my wife and I have built together—it’s the foundation for everything else I do.
Some of my favorite words to live by are from Theodore Roosevelt: “Believe you can and you’re halfway there.” It’s a great reminder of the power of mindset.
A favorite childhood memory was going on 4×4 Jeep trips in the Rocky Mountains with the family, and our Mom getting us out of the Jeep and having to walk each of us kids across several log bridges over stream crossings before my Dad would drive across the log bridges in the Jeep. That way only he and the Jeep would slide off the log bridges if something went wrong but Dad always seemed to make it.
