“Success is liking yourself, liking what you do,

and liking how you do it”

Working at TEE has been a rewarding experience, especially because of the flexibility it provides. That flexibility has allowed me to maintain a healthy work-life balance, which is essential to managing stress. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my friends and partner, and I love catching up with my family back home. My hobbies are quite diverse but mostly craft-related. I find joy in crocheting, needle punching, and jewelry making. It’s incredibly satisfying to take a ball of yarn or beads and turn them into something unique. I also enjoy painting nails, reading, journaling, and playing video games with friends.

The best lesson I’ve learned from my family came from my dad: to never take anything for granted. After experiencing two recent family losses, he taught me to appreciate what I have in life because everything can change in the blink of an eye. One of my favorite childhood memories is when we all went to Universal Studios Hollywood for the first time. My dad worked long hours and often came home tired, so I treasured the times when he could take the whole family somewhere special.

When I was younger, I actually wanted to be a car mechanic. I used to help my dad work on his cars and even went with him to his job at the auto repair shop. Watching him fix cars sparked my curiosity about how things work, which eventually led me to pursue engineering in college. In engineering, I love seeing all my hard work pay off when a project is complete, and I can be proud of the result.

Though I haven’t been at TEE for long, my experience has been positive. I’ve learned a lot and look forward to gaining more skills in the future. For any new TEE employees, my advice is simple: don’t hesitate to ask for help. Everyone here is more than willing to assist, and they genuinely want to see you succeed. What I value most about my TEE team is the camaraderie. There’s a real sense of enjoyment both in and out of work, and that speaks volumes about the strength of the team.

The thing I treasure most in life is my partner. We’ve been together since high school and have been each other’s greatest support system since 2017. I can’t imagine life without them. One of the things I’m most proud of is being a first-generation college graduate and starting to build a life for myself. Lastly, the quality I admire most in others is kindness. Being kind for the sake of it is something I truly appreciate, especially since we never know what others may be going through.
