“If you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all.”
I was born in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, but spent most of my childhood growing up in Davis, California. The move from Canada to California gave me a unique perspective on life, blending the outdoorsy spirit of the north with the relaxed energy of a college town.
As someone who once dreamed of becoming a general building contractor, I’ve always been drawn to building, solving, and improving things. My advice to new TEE employees would be: stay curious and ask questions—it’s the best way to learn and grow. Since starting here, I’ve gained an even deeper appreciation for collaboration and innovation, and I continue to learn from the talented people around me.
Working at TEE has been an incredibly rewarding experience. I’ve had the chance to be part of some exciting and meaningful projects, particularly the UCDH Projects, which stand out as a highlight of my time here. What I enjoy most about TEE is the people—there’s a strong sense of community, support, and collaboration that makes every challenge feel more manageable.
The 50th Anniversary Party is one of my favorite memories so far, a celebration that really brought everyone together. At TEE, no two days are the same, and it’s the new challenges and ever-changing nature of engineering that continue to excite me.
