East County Hall of Justice

The project consisted of a new Hall of Justice facility consisting of two buildings joined by a common lobby area. The courtroom building is five-stories and includes 156,000 square feet of space. This building incorporates thirteen courtrooms and related court support spaces consisting of clerical areas, jury assembly, and prisoner holding. The administrative building is two-stories and includes 43,000 square feet of space. This building houses the court’s IT division and county justice offices for the district attorney, public defender and probation department.
