The Engineering Enterprise has designed electrical systems for dozens of corrections/detention facilities ranging in size from 5 beds to 1800 beds. Our services on these projects include combined lighting, power, signal/communication and detention electronics.

Additionally, our staff is familiar with the location and security rating of power outlets needed for these facilities. Our experience with the major detention lighting manufacturers and associated products allows us to specify the most appropriate fixture for each application. We are keenly aware of the specialized switching requirements for inmate areas. Our experience with detention electronics includes door control, custom control panels, CCTV, ultrasonic and radio frequency personal security, perimeter microwave and fence cable systems, stand alone security telephone, security intercom and paging, and the integration of some or all of the above systems to operate in conjunction with one another.
